Well, we have had an interesting month so far. We found out that Corbyn doesn't like fireworks all that well. The crackleballs seem to scare him really bad. My mom ended up coming to get him and keep him over-night so that we could do fireworks. He did better the next day when we did sparklers and other fireworks with more people that would help calm his fears.
Me and Kyle both got burned lighting fireworks. Last yearit was between my toes (sparklers+flip flops=disaster) and this year I burnt the tip of my thumb. It sucked, but I think I will live.
Then during our 4th of July BBQ with Kyle's family, we discovered that Mallie (his dog) has a cut on her belly that is about the size of a 50 cent piece. So Kyle and I cleaned her up really good and she is doing much better now.
We haven't gone to a big firework show yet this year. We are planning on going to the Weber State fireworks on Sunday though. We are way excited for that.
We are also going up to Idaho to deliver a wedding cake on Saturday that my mom and I are going to make on Friday. Kyle is going to have to come with us though if he wants to because I am the only one that will be able to lift the cake and I can't do it by myself.
Also, we were at my mom's this weekend having dinner and when we were cleaning up, my mom's 2 boxers got in a scuffle and my mom, Caitlin and my step dad all ended up getting bit trying to break it up. Braddock (the one who did the damage) is on a 10 day probation and if he isn't trust worthy after the 10 days, they are going to put him in the shelter or Matt is going to have to move somewhere with him. Dempsy (the other boxer) is now missing half of his ear and has a hard time walking because Braddock bit his leg really deep.
We also have a new addition to the family. My step brother and his wife Angela had their 2nd son on June 29th and is now home and doing well.
Caitlin and my mom are at IMC because their bites got infected and Caitlin has to have surgery today. So for the rest of our day (after we get off work) we are going to spend it down there visiting them and making sure that they are doing okay.
Well that is about all for now. I'll keep this updated.
