We had a girls night out about a week ago. It was so fun and so much needed! lol. We all met in Roy High parking lot and headed over to Texas RoadHouse! It was so fun! Here are the pictures from that night.

Update!
So I'm just getting used to this whole blog thing. I'm not very good at it yet, but I'm trying. haha
Not alot reall goes on very much in our lives. Just a couple weeks ago, Kyle got accepted into the Degree Program for Health Sciences at Weber State. Now I am getting ready to apple to go to Weber too. I am thinking of going into Medical Billing and Coding. After I get certified in that I want to go back and get my Bachelor Degree in Billing and Coding. I'm so excited for us and our future! Corbyn is learning to count to 10 in German now (He already know's English and Spanish counting) and we are trying to help him learn to sing his ABC's! He is so smart! He isn't even 2 yet. Once he turns 2 we are going to have him graduate from diapers and go to big boy undies! I'm so excited and nervous! I think he will be fine though. He already tries to climb up on the regular potty and ask to go potty. So I am kinda confident that he will do fine!
Me and Kyle have also started working out. We have started P90X and it is way fun and it is working already!! Kyle has lost just over 10 lbs. in 3 weeks and I have lost about 6-8 lbs. It's all about the diet and working out! You have to be determined to make it work and you have to want to change. And believe me I am sick of being out of shape!
We just signed another contract to stay at out apartment for another year. I can't believe we have already been here for a year! Time went by so fast for us!!
I'm just way happy in my life right now. Me and Kyle have had our ups and downs, but we always work through everything. Him and Corb are my joy and I wouldn't change them for anything. I may not be the perfect trophy wife but I try my hardest to make and keep them both happy. I don't know what I would do without them in my life. I love them deeply and I will never ever let them go!
Here is Corbyn counting!

So Far...
Well, we have had an interesting month so far. We found out that Corbyn doesn't like fireworks all that well. The crackleballs seem to scare him really bad. My mom ended up coming to get him and keep him over-night so that we could do fireworks. He did better the next day when we did sparklers and other fireworks with more people that would help calm his fears.
Me and Kyle both got burned lighting fireworks. Last yearit was between my toes (sparklers+flip flops=disaster) and this year I burnt the tip of my thumb. It sucked, but I think I will live.
Then during our 4th of July BBQ with Kyle's family, we discovered that Mallie (his dog) has a cut on her belly that is about the size of a 50 cent piece. So Kyle and I cleaned her up really good and she is doing much better now.
We haven't gone to a big firework show yet this year. We are planning on going to the Weber State fireworks on Sunday though. We are way excited for that.
We are also going up to Idaho to deliver a wedding cake on Saturday that my mom and I are going to make on Friday. Kyle is going to have to come with us though if he wants to because I am the only one that will be able to lift the cake and I can't do it by myself.
Also, we were at my mom's this weekend having dinner and when we were cleaning up, my mom's 2 boxers got in a scuffle and my mom, Caitlin and my step dad all ended up getting bit trying to break it up. Braddock (the one who did the damage) is on a 10 day probation and if he isn't trust worthy after the 10 days, they are going to put him in the shelter or Matt is going to have to move somewhere with him. Dempsy (the other boxer) is now missing half of his ear and has a hard time walking because Braddock bit his leg really deep.
We also have a new addition to the family. My step brother and his wife Angela had their 2nd son on June 29th and is now home and doing well.
Caitlin and my mom are at IMC because their bites got infected and Caitlin has to have surgery today. So for the rest of our day (after we get off work) we are going to spend it down there visiting them and making sure that they are doing okay.
Well that is about all for now. I'll keep this updated.

Hello
Hello everyone and welcome to The Kirkpatrick's blog! We are new to this, so bear with us.
Me and Kyle got married on August 21, 2008. We have a beautiful son named Corbyn and we have the best family anyone could ask for! Corbyn just turned 18 months and boy has time flew!! He is the best baby though and I wouldn't trade him for the world! We love our life so far. We have our ups and downs, but we manage to get through them together and they just make us stronger. Kyle works as an EMT-I for Lifetime Products Inc. and is trying to find something better that is more reliable.
I work for Davis Family Advocates 3 days a week to get some extra money. I do daycare and the GED registration there. I love my job! I get to bring Corbyn with me to work and He loves it!
We are LDS and are trying to get things right so that we can go through the temple and live happily ever after for all eternity! That would be a dream come true!!
So far this summer we really haven't done much. Corbyn goes to my mom's house about 1-2 times a week so that Kyle and I can have a break. We are so blessed to have a family that is willing to help us out with everything we do. They are all so supportive.
We love to go fishing and camping, and hopefully this summer we will be able to go at least 2 times. We want to go for our 1 year anniversary but I don't know if the money will be right for us to go.
We also love to swim. My aunt and uncle have a pool in their backyard and we love to go there. Kyle's Grandparents also have a pool where they are living and we like to go there alot too. Even if it is just a sprinkler in the yard, it is still fun!
I will post more stuff as more things happen. Once I learn more about how to do this exactly I will post some pictures too!
